Physical Therapist Assistant
Amy Solano, a Physical Therapist Assistant, began her journey at Paramus Medical as a volunteer intern, became a Physical Therapy Aide then pursued her education to become a therapist herself. Amy received her Associates Degree from Essex Community College to become a PTA. She also has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Hunter College of New York.
Amy decided to pursue a career helping others as a therapist after being treated for her own injured foot and experiencing the fast recovery that PT can provide. She is an avid fitness and exercise aficionado, dedicated to a healthy lifestyle, knowledgeable in nutrition and various work out programs. She recently completed certifications in IM=X Pilates and fundamentals of Kinesio taping.
Most of Amy's experience is in the treatment of orthopedic and sports injuries, however she also has experience working in an inpatient or subacute setting with more medically complex conditions.
